1. Sponsor. This giveaway is sponsored by Talo Stays, LLC, (“Sponsor”), with the prize provided by WDTA Holdings LLC, owner of The Grand Riverhouse, 5795 Stimson Rd, Eaton Rapids, Michigan (“Prize Provider”).
2. Eligibility. Open only to legal residents of the State of Michigan who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. You must be engaged or planning to marry, and you must be one of the two people being married. Entries made on someone else’s behalf are not valid. Employees of Sponsor and Prize Provider, the owners of The Grand Riverhouse, participating vendors at the Michigan Bridal & Wedding Expo or the Grand Riverhouse Wedding Showcase and their employees, and the members of their households are not eligible. Subject to all applicable laws.
3. Giveaway period. The giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on October 18, 2026 and ends at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 25, 2026, before the drawing.
4. How to enter (all free). Choose any one of these. Each is free and each has the same chance of winning.
- Online: complete the entry form at [talostays.com/thegrandriverhouse]. No attendance at any event is required.
- At the Michigan Bridal & Wedding Expo: scan the QR code at the Talo Stays booth on October 18, 2026.
- At the Grand Riverhouse Wedding Showcase: scan the QR code at the check-in table on October 25, 2026, before 4:00 p.m. (a paper entry card is available on request). Admission to the showcase is free.
Entry requires your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and confirmation that you are one of the couple being married. Agreeing to receive marketing is optional and does not affect your entry.
5. Limit. One entry per person for the whole giveaway, regardless of how many ways you enter. Entries are matched by name, email address, and phone number, and only the first entry from any one person counts. Duplicate entries, and entries made by scripts, bots, or other automated means, are void.
6. Prize. One (1) winner will receive one daily rental of The Grand Riverhouse Wedding package, including: exclusive use of the grounds, ceremony and reception sites, up to 100 chairs and 10 tables with setup and removal, pool house restrooms, parking, and day-use getting-ready space in the house and bunkhouse on an available date between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2027 on which the venue has no other event or booking (the “Prize”). Approximate retail value: $7,000. The Prize does not include overnight stays, tents or heaters, catering, alcohol, vendors or rentals, event insurance (see Section 7), any refundable deposit, or taxes. These are the winner’s responsibility.
7. Prize conditions. The Prize is subject to availability and to the venue’s guest-capacity limits in effect for the event date and any township limits. The winner must sign the venue’s standard rental agreement and book a date by December 31, 2026. The winner must also buy, at the winner’s own expense, a one-day wedding or special-event liability insurance policy with limits of at least $1,000,000 that names The Grand Riverhouse and Sponsor as additional insureds, and must give proof of coverage at least 14 days before the event. If the wedding is cancelled, the Prize is forfeited. The Prize has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize, and is not transferable, and may be used only for the winner’s own wedding, where the winner is one of the two people being married. If the Prize is not booked and used by December 31, 2027, it is forfeited. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable.
8. Odds. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
9. Drawing. The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on November 8, 2026, at Talo Stays’ office in Allendale, Michigan. The drawing is final.
10. Winner notice. The winner will be contacted by email and phone within 3 days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, or cannot be reached, or is not eligible, the Prize is forfeited and an alternate winner may be drawn. The winner must return a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release, and a completed IRS Form W-9 for the Prize Provider, within 10 days of notice.
11. Taxes. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize. Prize Provider will report the Prize value to the IRS and issue the winner a Form 1099-MISC as required by law.
12. Publicity. Except where prohibited, accepting the Prize allows Sponsor and Prize Provider to use the winner’s name, city, and photograph for promotion, with no further payment.
13. Privacy. Sponsor will use entry information only to run this giveaway, contact the winner, and, if you opt in, send the marketing you chose. Sponsor does not sell your information or share it with anyone else, except the service providers that host the entry form and email, and, for the winner only, the Prize Provider. 14. General. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or change this giveaway if it cannot run as planned, including because of fraud, technical failure, or other causes beyond its control. Sponsor and Prize Provider are not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries. By entering you agree to these rules. This giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. If any part of these rules is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
15. Winner list. The winner will be announced within 14 days of the drawing. For the winner’s name, send a written request to [email] by [date].
